Night Shelter

At Stepping Stones, our Night Shelter provides a safe, welcoming place for women and women with children who are experiencing homelessness. Guests have access to a comfortable place to sleep, basic necessities, and a supportive environment designed to promote stability, dignity, and hope. Church partners throughout Rutherford County play an important role in this program by helping provide overnight accommodations and hospitality on designated evenings. Through a combination of shelter, encouragement, and individualized support, we help women and families focus on the next steps toward permanent housing and self-sufficiency.

How We Help

  • Provide a safe and welcoming place to sleep each night.

  • Supply bedding, hygiene items, and other basic necessities.

  • Connect women and families with housing-focused case management.

  • Partner with local churches to expand shelter capacity and community support.

  • Help guests work toward long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency.
